Lady A’s Platinum, Brad Strikes Gold

Country’s biggest stars are selling the most singles.

Lady Antebellum has gotten a big kiss from music fans for its latest single, “Just a Kiss,” which is set to hit No. 1 on the Billboard country singles chart and has sold more than a million copies online.

Lady A's Charles Kelley expressed joy—and some relief—that the first single from the new album coming out Sept. 13 is doing so well.

“There are definitely some nerves and anxiousness involved when you are introducing new music, and this reaction has been beyond what we hoped for,” Charles said in a statement. “It just makes us even more excited for Sept. 13 to get here.”

The Brad Paisley/Carrie Underwood duet “Remind Me” is also doing well. Brad's label says the single has sold more than 500,000 copies.
