Viewers may not have been aware, but the members of Lady Antebellum were actually giving fans a short preview of their 2012 tour with their performance on the CMA Awards telecast Wednesday night (Nov. 9).

Several fans and extras joined the trio onstage to sing along on 'We Owned the Night," and that's going to be an ongoing element of Lady A's Own the Night 2012 Tour.

On the red carpet before the telecast, the group's Charles Kelley told reporters, “We're about to headline our tour and we're giving fans a little taste of our shows [tonight]. We will have a little circle of fans that will be part of our show on certain songs, and we're giving [viewers] a little preview of that excitement.”

Asked how he thought that would play out on the tour, Charles quipped, “We just hope they have good voices.”
