Yes, Lady Antebellum won the ACM trophy for vocal group for the second straight time last night (April 4).
But before that, Rascal Flatts had won the category seven times in a row. And this year, Flatts didn't even get a nomination in the category.
How did it feel to win without Rascal Flatts among the nominees?
“It was weird,” Lady A’s Charles Kelley said, according to The Tennessean.
“They deserve to be in the category every year. They’re one of our biggest influences, if not the biggest influence.”
