Lady A Heads to Sugar Bowl

Lady Antebellum will help ring in the New Year when they perform the National Anthem at the Allstate Sugar Bowl football game, Jan. 1, in New Orleans.

The game between college powerhouses Florida and Cincinnati will be televised on FOX-TV, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET. The CMA Award-winning trio will also celebrate New Year’s Eve in New Orleans’ famed French Quarter, headlining the “Allstate Fan Fest” street concert to kick off the Sugar Bowl festivities. The free concert begins at 6 p.m. in the JAX Brewery Parking lot. “It wouldn’t feel like the holidays without football,” says the group’s Charles Kelley. “We love being part of the opening ceremonies of some of these big games because there’s so much energy in the stadium.”
