Lady A Fan Says Ex-Boyfriend Bit Off Her Fingertip at Concert

Police couldn't locate fingertip: “You have 20,000 people stomping around all over the place,” an officer says.

This sounds crazy enough to be a country song.

A young Pittsburgh-area man has been charged with aggravated assault after he was accused of biting off his ex-girlfriend's fingertip at a Lady Antebellum concert earlier this month.

Police said the 22-year-old man, Zachary Leone, saw his 17-year-old ex with her new boyfriend at a June 2 Lady A concert outside Pittsburgh.

The two guys started to scuffle, and when the teenage girl got in the middle, Zachary hit her several times and bit off the tip of her right ring finger, the girl told police.

Zachary's attorney told Pittsburgh media that his client had nothing to do with the girl's missing fingertip.

Either way, police couldn't locate the fingertip.

"You have 20,000 people stomping around all over the place," the lead officer told a local newspaper.

No comment so far from the Lady A camp.
