Lady Antebellum Gives, Gets Career Advice

Growing up as the daughter of country artist Linda Davis, Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott has seen her share of the music industry.

Hillary took a moment before the group's performance during the CMA Music Fest's LP Field concert in Nashville to give her own advice to other musicians who want to follow in her high-heeled footsteps. “Leave it out there," she said. "I think that’s one thing I’ve seen from the artists out there. They give it their all night after night. Also, they take care of their people. We’ve been really lucky to have been out on some great tours where they take care of everyone from the [opening act] to the guitar tech. That’s important because they work way longer hours than we ever could.”

Charles Kelley offered one other piece of advice he got from superstar Kenny Chesney. “Kenny taught us how to put on one heck of a Vibe Room,” Charles said of the superstar's famous backstage party room.
