Fans of rising star Kristy Lee Cook won’t have to wait for her debut CD Why Wait—the album hits stores Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The former American Idol finalist, currently on the charts with “15 Minutes of Shame,” describes the project as a mix of inspirational songs, ballads and "some really fun rockin' in the car, drivin' kind of stuff." Kristy Lee is slated to appear on Live With Regis and Kelly, Friday, Sept. 19.
