Kristin Chenoweth Injured on the Set of The Good Wife

The actress reportedly sustained only minor injuries.

Sometime country singer Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to a hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Wednesday afternoon (July 11) after she was injured when scaffolding fell on her on the set of CBS' The Good Wife, her publicist Jill Fritzo told the Associated Press.

CBS Studios also released a statement, though their statement tells a slightly different story. "While filming a scene for The Good Wife in Brooklyn, a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth," the studio said. Lighting silk softens and diffuses light during filming.

It is not currently known if the singer/actress is still in the hospital, though she is reported to have received only minor injuries. "All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery," continued the CBS Studios statement.

Kristin released the country album Some Lessons Learned in 2011 and starred in the since-cancelled ABC comedy GCB.
