In the Kitchen With Martha . . . ? No, Martina McBride!

Country songbird cooking up melodies and morsels.

We already know that Martina McBride can heat things up in the studio. With hits like “Broken Wing,” “Independence Day,” “Blessed” and “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” she’s shown she’s one of the strongest voices and women in country music.

Turns out, she’s pretty darn handy in the kitchen, too. And this fall, you can see for yourself when William Morrow releases Around the Table, a collection of recipes, tips, menu planning advice, décor ideas and personal anecdotes from Martina herself, on Oct. 7.

“I have a passion for food and entertaining and I’m so excited to be putting everything I love onto the pages of my new book,” she says.

Martina even has themed party ideas, like the “Red, White, and Blue Backyard Cookout,” “Retro Valentine’s Day Supper Club” and “Mistletoe and Martinis.”

Martina’s new album, Everlasting, a collection of some of the singer’s favorite songs, hits stores April 8.
