Kip Moore’s “Hey Pretty Girl” Reunites Split Couple

“It was a proud moment for me to be a part of what I’m doing and to have an effect on someone like that,” Kip says.

Kip Moore’s not just a country artist—the guy has the power to reunite couples who have broken up.

Or at least there was that one couple who stopped him near his tour bus after a show one night. The guy kept yelling, “Kip! Kip! Kip!”

So Kip went over to him and his girlfriend, and that’s when dude told him the song “Hey Pretty Girl” brought him and his girl back together, four months after they split.

“He said, ‘I was riding down the road, and I heard this song for the first time.’ He said, ‘I started crying.’ He said, ‘I called my girlfriend immediately.’ He said, ‘I just heard this song on the radio.’ And she stopped him,” Kip told reporters.

“She goes, ‘I know exactly what you’re talking about ’cause I just heard it, too.’ And she said, ‘I miss you like crazy.’ He said, ‘I miss you, too.’”

So the guy drove over to his lady’s house and proposed right then and there.

Kip was blown away by that story.

“When I’m sitting down to write a song like that, I’m not thinking about things like that. I’m thinking about writing a song,” he said.

“It’s scary at the same time that you can have that kind of effect. But it was a proud moment for me to be a part of what I’m doing and to have an effect on someone like that.”
