Kip Moore to Play an Arena With Family in the Crowd

Kip Moore (“Somethin’ ’Bout a Truck”) might be kicking out a little more sweat than usual as opening act on Eric Church's Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour.

His show Friday night (Dec. 14) in Jacksonville, Fla., will be the first time Kip's family gets to see him play in an arena. But don't blame the family.

"I've kind of kept my career quiet [around family], and I have never talked about what I’ve done," Kip told reporters recently.

"All of a sudden they started seeing me on TV and hearing me on the radio. It was kind of like, 'Wait a minute.' It kind of took them all by surprise, because I never talked about it really. I'm kind of that way anyway," he said.

"I always felt like if it ended up being good enough and working, then they'd find out anyway. So, I’ll be a little nervous probably with them in the crowd."
