Kip Moore Goes Up in Smoke for New Tour

Teams up with CMT for first headlining run.

After four years of burning up the roads, Kip Moore is going Up in Smoke for his first headlining tour.

Kip will team up with CMT for the 20-plus-city CMT on Tour 2014: Up in Smoke Tour, which kicks off Sept. 25 in New York, and he’ll bring pals Charlie Worsham and Sam Hunt along for the ride.

“When we started out, sometimes there would only be five people at a show, and seeing the crowds grow over the years is really humbling and encouraging,” Kip says in release. “And now to be teaming up with CMT for a tour is a really exciting moment in my career. We’ll definitely be playing lots of songs from the new album out on the road so it will be fun to test those out and see what the fans think.”

In addition to his upcoming tour, Kip is playing the Country Weekly Kick-Off Party tomorrow night (June 3) at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge. And boy, are we looking forward to that!
