Kip Moore Debuts New Video

Kip Moore's latest single, "Hey Pretty Girl," is a lovely story of a life—or rather, two lives together through courtship, marriage, building a family and the inevitable end.

In the song's video, released today (March 18) through Jimmy Fallon's Tumblr page, images of Kip performing are interspersed with ones of couples enjoying innocent moments at various stages of their relationships. Kip and director Chris Hickey had similar ideas about the treatment and put the details together.

"I wanted to stay away from a literal story," explained Kip on set while he was filming the video. "You feel some of the beginning stages, you feel some of the end stages, you feel some of the in-between stages, but it doesn't follow the story line to a T."

But it does give a sense of the joy that comes from the little and big moments in building a life together, which is essential to the song's message. "The whole song's about hope and what you hope to experience with somebody," said Kip. "Because I think we're all created to want to go through life with a counterpart, somebody you could lean on."
