Kenny's Keg Party Hits Nashville

Kenny Chesney brought his informal Keg in the Closet tour to Nashville's Exit/In club, Monday night, March 9.

The capacity crowd was treated to Kenny and his band playing several of Kenny's hits as well as covering songs by Tom Petty, Alabama and others. Nashville songwriters like Craig Wiseman, David Lee Murphy and others also joined Kenny and his band onstage for “Living in Fast Forward,” “You Saved Me" and “When the Sun Goes Down." Kenny notes that he looks forward to these informal shows that play to mostly college students and younger listeners. “This is just this wild and wooly thing we do,” he says. “We laugh a lot. We play songs we can't believe somebody called for, and it's one of the most fun things we do. I can't believe everyone who came out and did their songs with me, but it sure was a blast.”
