KENNY TOPS COUNTRY TOURS
Kenny Chesney draws the fans like no other country star, according to the year-end Billboard magazine Boxscore report.
Kenny ranked No. 4 among the year's top-grossing tours, the only country act to land in the Top 10. To make it to that spot, Kenny beat out such icons as Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart and Elton John. The three acts ahead of Kenny: rock's U2, the Eagles and classic hitmaker Neil Diamond. Kenny's tour raked in $63 million, according to Billboard. And in terms of straight attendance, Kenny drew 1.1 million concertgoers, second only to U2.
