Kenny Rolls Out New Stage for Stadium Shows

Kenny Chesney promises to roll out his biggest stage production yet for the NFL stadium dates on his upcoming 2008 Poets & Pirates Tour.

At those shows, Kenny will operate from a double-T configuration, featuring four sandbars instead of two. The new setup allows him and the band to cover twice as much ground as before. “You know, I am always trying to think of what would be cool to me,” Kenny explains. “And for me, the idea that we could make the sandbar even bigger . . . well, that seemed like a great way to make every stadium seat seem even closer.” Kenny’s first NFL stadium show is May 10 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. One of his most anticipated concerts comes up July 5 at Nashville’s LP Field, home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.
