KENNY ROGERS EXHIBITS PHOTOS IN VEGAS

Kenny Rogers will be in Las Vegas on September 21, but not to sing.

Rogers will display an exhibition of his photographs, titled "Songs Without Sound: The Photography of Kenny Rogers."

The events kicks off with a reception at the Venetian Hotel and Resort, with an appearance by The Gambler himself, followed by a meet-and-greet book signing at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

For Rogers, photography is a serious creative outlet and not just a hobby. "Photography has grown from an avocation into a serious creative outlet, almost another career," he explains. "Like music, it gives me a great deal of personal satisfaction. In fact, I get at least as much satisfaction from my photography as I do from my music."

"It has also offered me an escape from the intense scrutiny of the public eye and the pandemonium of a packed concert hall."
