Kenny Releases First Single From New CD

Kenny Chesney is releasing the first single, “Never Wanted Nothing More,” from his upcoming, as-yet-untitled new CD.

The song, which leans heavily on banjo and acoustic guitar, talks about the stages of coming of age. “It really is how life is lived, what we want and the way nothing else feels like the moment you finally get it,” says Kenny. “This song isn’t maybe what people are expecting, but then the best things never are.” Kenny adds that he has some great songs lined up for the new album. “The hardest part was figuring out . . . which song to release first from this new record,” he says. A release date has not been set for the album.
