Kenny Promises He and Tim Will Sing Together

And it’ll be loud: “I love going to concerts where I can feel the kick drum go right through my chest.”

So, technically, Kenny Chesney is the headliner for the Kenny/Tim McGraw Brothers of the Sun tour that kicks off June 2 in Tampa.

But, after tour rehearsals closed, Kenny told reporters that he and Tim will definitely be performing together.

"Tim and I have never played music together and not shared the stage," Kenny told reporters. "That's gonna happen."

Oh, and it's gonna be loud.

"I love going to concerts where I can feel the kick drum go right through my chest. That's what this is gonna be."

Also on the bill: Jake Owen and Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. And Grace sings with Kenny on "You and Tequila," so Tim might not be Kenny's only singing partner onstage.
