KENNY PLAYS FOR THE PRESIDENT

Kenny Chesney took a special day away from his tour when he performed for President George W. Bush and the visiting Australian prime minister at the White House, Tuesday night, May 16.

Kenny sang his hits “There Goes My Life” and “Back Where I Come From,” which had several audience members tapping their feet to the music, according to media reports. President Bush then presented Kenny with a pair of black cowboy boots. Accompanying Kenny was his mom Karen Chandler, a belated Mother’s Day gift for her.
