Kenny Plans “Shiftwork” Sections

Kenny Chesney plans to offer tickets to several of his stadium shows for less than $30 in special “Shiftwork” sections.

Kenny came up with the idea, based on his current hit single, “Shiftwork,” to sell the discounted tickets for his July 5 stadium show in Nashville. When he saw the success of the sale, he decided to expand the concept to other markets. The rising price of gas helped spark the idea to continue the discounted tickets. “I was filling up my truck and the numbers just kept going,” Kenny explains. “You watch the news, you hear the stories . . . but when it translates to your own gas tank, and then you think about all the people out there like my mom, who’s a hairdresser. Well, what else do you do?” More details on the “Shiftwork” sections, with tickets going for $29.50 apiece, will be announced soon.
