Kenny Parties for His Big 4-0

Kenny Chesney celebrated his 40th birthday, March 26, with a star-studded bash at Nashville restaurant Cabana.

Close friends Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Dierks Bentley, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Kellie Pickler and Kix Brooks helped Kenny mark the big day. Also on hand were baseball star Roger Clemens, NASCAR champ Sterling Marlin and top Music Row songwriters Paul Overstreet, Dean Dillon and Aimee Mayo. “Looking around this room, I don’t know what to say,” Kenny noted at the 200 in attendance. “Every one of them means so much to me, who I am and how I got here . . . and to see them all here, it makes me realize what a gift all the people in my life have been.” And speaking of gifts, Kenny was presented with a book of letters from people who have touched his life, including Keith Urban, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, actress Eva Longoria and others. “I haven’t even started reading this yet,” Kenny said, “and I already know that it’s my favorite birthday present ever.”
