“With those kinds of numbers, I’m glad I don’t have to do the math,” Kenny laughed, reacting to the news. “What I know is we had a big year out there . . . and we saw a lot of faces, and we had a lot of fun.” Kenny was the only country star playing stadium shows during the past year, selling out huge venues such as Qwest Field in Seattle and Nashville’s LP Field. “We have a pretty cool stage, a lot of lights . . . but in the end, it still comes down to the songs, my band and the way we play,” said Kenny.
