Kenny Kicks Off Stadium Shows
Kenny Chesney plays the first stadium date from his Poets & Pirates 2008 tour in Columbia, S.C., Saturday, April 26.

Joining Kenny for the big show are Brooks & Dunn, LeAnn Rimes, Gary Allan and Luke Bryan. Kenny told The State newspaper that he’s “a little bit pirate, a little bit poet” as he and his crew travel down the road this summer, explaining that he tries to capture the life of a traveling artist in his songs. Kenny’s upcoming stadium shows include Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, June 14, and Nashville’s LP Field, July 5.
