Kenny Closes Sun City Carnival Tour

Kenny Chesney played for more than 45,000 fans in Indianapolis on the final stop of his massive Sun City Carnival tour, Sept. 19, at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Joining Kenny for the show were Sugarland, Miranda Lambert and the Zac Brown Band. Kenny closed the concert with an emotional performance of his hit, “Better as a Memory.” After the show, Kenny said, “It’s hard to believe we’re putting this thing up on blocks. The response from the fans, out in the crowd and the Internet . . . it makes you feel like people understand.” Kenny has indicated that he will not stage a major tour for 2010.
