Kenny Chesney’s Spread the Love Fund

Kenny Chesney recently established the Spread the Love Fund to help support victims of the Boston Marathon bombing who are paying for prosthetic limbs and care. Proceeds from downloads of his song "Spread the Love," recorded with the Wailers Band for his album Life on a Rock, will go to the fund.

“We can live in a very dark place based on what’s on the news every single day, and that wouldn’t be crazy,” Kenny said in a statement. “But I think people are good—they give back and help where they can. That’s what the song ‘Spread the Love’ is all about: remembering we are good at our core, and what we do makes a difference.”

Adding to the ways people can support the fund, Kenny has created a T-shirt in both girl's and unisex styles sporting the Spread the Love logo. Net proceeds will go to the STL Fund. Kenny presented the first shirt to Katie Couric on her talk show Katie Monday, May 13. Check out the video below.
