KENNY CHESNEY'S NEAR MISS

There was an accident recently in Kenny Chesney's camp -- his helicopter crashed while trying to get an overhead shot for a new video.

Kenny was not onboard the aircraft when it crashed, but Kenny's friend and videographer Sean Silva as well as the pilot were rushed to the hospital and are in stable condition.

While trying to get the aerial shot for the video, the helicopter ran into some power lines, burst into flames and went down.

"I called Sean a couple hours before to see if they got the shot and he didn't call me right back," says Kenny. "I figured it was just taking a little longer for whatever reason. When Sean finally did call, he sounded kinda funny -- then he explained what happened. Thankfully, no one died or was seriously injured.
