Kenny Chesney loves his workouts and football as much as he does entertaining stadiums full of fans. On Friday (May 31), Kenny got the chance to work out and practice with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks at the team’s training camp, prior to Kenny’s Seattle concert on June 1.

Seattle’s head coach, Pete Carroll, invited Kenny to the training facility. “I met Pete a couple years ago,” Kenny explained. “We kept in touch, and he asked me if I’d like to work out with the team.”

Kenny took part in offensive drills with the wide receivers, catching passes thrown by NFL Pepsi Rookie of the Year Russell Wilson, as the team prepared for the upcoming season.

“To feel the intensity of an NFL training camp and out to be out there running those drills . . . you get a sense of how much focus and heart goes into preparing to do what they’re going to do all season,” Kenny said.

See how Kenny fared in this video of his day with the Seahawks.
