KENNY ANNOUNCES NEW TOUR

For Kenny Chesney, the road goes on forever and the party never ends. He's announced his "Somewhere In The Sun" tour for 2005 - and he's taking Gretchen Wilson, Uncle Kracker and Pat Green with him. Gretchen will keep the middle slot for the entire tour, Uncle Kracker will open for the first half of the year, and then Pat will finish off the year. Tour dates will be announced soon. "There were a bunch of markets we didn't play with Kracker last year," Kenny explained. "and I really wanted everybody to have the chance to see what he does, to hear 'When The Sun Goes Down' and just feel his vibe. So, we decided to split it up - and then bring Pat Green, who is just an awesome performer and super cool guy out for the shows in the sheds. As for Gretchen Wilson, she's one of those girls who just kicks butt and takes names. She's not afraid to be just who she is, either, which I think is a big deal. Know who you are, then turn up the volume. It's gonna be a great year."
