Kenny Adds an Eagle

Kenny Chesney’s Flip Flop Summer Tour kicks off Thursday, April 12, in Omaha, Neb., with an extra added attraction—ex-Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh.

Walsh, who enjoyed a successful solo career in addition to his stint with the Eagles, will join Kenny for the April 12 opener, but will not resume until the tour stop in Las Vegas, May 3 and 4. “I don’t think there’s anybody in the world who doesn’t know ‘Life’s Been Good’ or ‘Rocky Mountain Way’ if they’ve listened to any rock radio at all,” Kenny says. Sugarland and Pat Green will also be joining Kenny for the 2007 tour. “We’re ready to rock and we’re coming fully loaded,” Kenny declares. “All the fans gotta do is show up and be ready to party.”
