Kenny’s Tour Tops the List

Kenny Chesney is set to take the No. 1 spot for best-selling and highest-grossing country tour of the year for his current Flip Flop Summer Tour.

According to Pollstar magazine, Kenny has already sewn up those titles, even though the touring season is not officially over. Kenny’s tour has grossed nearly $57 million, with estimates of his final North American tour numbers to be between $70 and 75 million. Because Kenny played several shows at multi-capacity football stadiums, he will have performed before more than one million fans by tour’s end. The tour wraps up Sept. 7 in Atlanta.
