KENNY’S READY FOR A BREAK

Kenny Chesney is gearing up to finally take a break from the road after his long summer tour.

“I’m not gonna think about the road for a while, I can promise you that,” Kenny tells GAC. “I’m going to be on an island, I’m going to go to some different places. Everything has been so ‘push, push, push’ that I haven’t been able to take a deep breath for a long time. So I’m gonna do that for the next couple of months.” Before he grabs that extended break, Kenny will be making a couple of notable TV appearances. On Wednesday, Oct. 4, Kenny will rise and shine on CBS’ The Early Show, where he’ll perform three songs and chat with host Hannah Storm. Fans should check local listings for times in their area. Kenny will also be on the performing lineup for the CMA Awards telecast, Monday, Nov. 6.
