Kelsea Ballerini Performs With Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley

“Dibs” singer subs for Hillary Scott on “Need You Now.”

While Lady Antebellum takes a little break from the road, someone has to hit those high notes for Charles Kelley’s solo shows.

Enter Kelsea Ballerini, who proved to be an adept substitute for Hillary Scott during Charles’ concert in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Kelsea was enjoying some downtime from her busy 2015, the year she earned her first No. 1 single (“Love Me Like You Mean It”) and toured extensively with Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, Sam Hunt and Dan + Shay, but she couldn’t resist the urge to take the stage with Charles at City Play to sing “Need You Now.”

Kelsea and Hillary are great friends who can be spotted on each other’s Twitter and Instagram accounts.
