Kelly Clarkson, Trisha Yearwood Set for TLC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?”

Stars explore fascinating facts of their family history.

Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood are among the celebrities lined up for the new season of the popular reality series Who Do You Think You Are? The new season of eight episodes, hosted by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky, kicks off July 23 on new network home TLC. Previously, the show aired on NBC.

The celebrities in each episode embark on a remarkable journey to discover details of their family history and genealogy. As part of the show sponsorship, ancestry.com provides family history research that frames the story of each episode. In turn, the celebrities reveal how the newly found facts about their backgrounds will affect their lives.

Ashley Judd and Reba McEntire have participated in past shows and came away with eye-opening discoveries about their heritage.

Other stars slated for the new season include model/spokesperson Cindy Crawford and actress Zooey Deschanel.
