Kellie Pickler & Wynonna Hold Their Own on “DWTS”

“Yum yum, pig’s bum—that was fun!” judge Len Goodman says of Kellie’s first dance.

The country stars were shining brightly Monday night (March 18) as ABC's Dancing With the Stars kicked off its 16th season. Kellie Pickler sparkled—literally and figuratively—and Wynonna held her own in the first week of the new season.

We watched with bated breath as Kellie Pickler took to the dance floor with partner Derek Hough to do the cha-cha. Kellie really wowed the judges and fans with her high energy and awesome rhythm—not to mention her killer body—earning her a score of 21 out of 30 and putting her in a tie for second place with Olympic gold medalists Dorothy Hamill and Alexandra Raisman.

Later in the show Wynonna and partner Tony Dovolani—who was Sara Evans' partner years ago—cha-cha-cha'ed their way to an 18 out of 30, tying her with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump and champion boxer Victor Ortiz. Wynonna showed she has rhythm and soul (which we already knew) as she moved across the dance floor. Fans enjoyed seeing sister Ashley Judd and mama Naomi Judd cheering Wy on in the audience.

The stars were also busy tweeting to their fans in the middle of the show. Kellie Pickler tweeted a picture of her dress, that showed off her fabulous physique, with a simple wink.

Kellie Pickler: #ChaChaCha #DWTS #PickPicklerAndHough  ;)

Wynonna Judd: WOW! Everyone is doing SO GREAT! #TeamToWyn coming up soon! Don't forget to #VoteWynonna 1-800-868-3410

Kellie also received some of the most unique feedback from the judges. "Yum yum, pig's bum—that was fun!" Len Goodman enthused. We couldn't agree more, Len.

But it was DWTS's youngest contestant ever, 16-year-old Zendaya Coleman, who ended up on top of the leader board. The Disney star scored three 8s from the judges, giving her 24 out of 30 points. Looks like Zendaya is the one to beat.
