Kellie Pickler to Sing on the Show That Made Her Famous

“I’LL BE SINGING ON THE STAGE THAT IT ALL STARTED ON, AMERICAN IDOL!! YEEE-HAW!! :) :) :)”

'Twas 2008 when a 19-year-old long-haired North Carolina girl named Kellie urged American Idol judge Paula Abdul to "Pick Pickler!"

Kellie then blew them away with snippets of Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone" and Martina McBride's "Broken Wing."

And the rest, as they say, is history—in red high heels.

Kellie told her fans Tuesday night (April 3) that she'll be back on the Idol stage Thursday night (April 5).

"I'm so excited to let y'all know this Thursday that," she began, "I'LL BE SINGING ON THE STAGE THAT IT ALL STARTED ON, AMERICAN IDOL!! YEEE-HAW!! :) :) :)"
