Kellie Pickler wanted to do something special for female members of the military who couldn't be with their loved ones on Valentine's Day. She found the perfect outlet for her heartfelt intentions with a program called "Ladies Night Out," hosted monthly by USO centers in the Middle East. "Ladies Night Out" is designed to give female soldiers a chance to bond and take a much-needed break from military living.

With the support of companies such as Bed, Bath & Beyond and Dearfoams, Kellie wrapped nail polish, slippers, chocolates and other items. These were sent overseas to our female soldiers who were spending Valentine's Day in Afghanistan, Kuwait and other outposts. Kellie could not deliver the special gifts in person but sent a message to the soldiers via Skype. "I am grateful to all the servicemen and women for the sacrifices they make, but I have a special place in my heart for servicewomen," Kellie said in the message. "They are some brave, beautiful and dedicated women."

Kellie has been a tireless supporter of the military since her first USO tour in 2007. She made her most recent USO trip and concert tour in December of 2012.
