You always knew she could sing her heart out, but now there's proof that Kellie Pickler can also dance her shoes off!

The Dancing With the Stars Season 16 winner received a warm welcome-home party at the Grand Ole Opry Tuesday night (June 4).

“It’s good to be home,” Kellie told Country Weekly backstage. “But I’ll be honest, I’m missing the dance floor.”

After kicking off the night on the Opry stage and performing her new single, “Someone Somewhere Tonight,” Kellie was joined by dancing partner Derek Hough and whisked to a private party backstage where she was honored with a champagne toast and a perfectly fitting mirror-ball cake.

The gushing star was also given the key to the city of Nashville—a framed piano key. “I’m so overwhelmed and so thankful for everyone’s support,” Kellie remarked. “I feel like ‘thank you’ is an understatement. I’m not sure what I can do or say to thank everyone.”

While the outgoing entertainer admits to missing the dance floor, fans can rest assured that she hasn’t retired her dancing shoes. “I hope I can find a dance studio in Nashville. I’ve been wanting to take ballet for a while now, so hopefully I can find a ballet teacher.”

For now, though, Kellie is focusing on putting the finishing touches on her next album, which is scheduled to be released in the fall. She defines the project as “definite country.”

“My new single, ‘Someone Somewhere Tonight,’ is a love song, but it’s about life, too. When I sing it, I’m singing about people I know. My dad is one of them,” she said. “It’s personal.”
