The CMA Country Christmas taping Thursday night (Nov. 10) had its share of beautiful music and moments—but it got off to a bit of a rocky start.

The artists—including Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Kellie Pickler, Martina McBride and Scotty McCreery—taped the finale first, but they hadn't rehearsed it at all.

So during the first run-through, Kellie got a little confused about when to come in, and when it was her turn, she looked right into the camera and said, "Oh s&^t!"

The 8,000-person crowd at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena roared with laughter.

And the laughs kept coming when GAC personality Storme Warren, the event's off-camera host, said afterward, “Kellie Pickler just made the ‘naughty’ list.”

The special—minus profanity—airs Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
