Kellie Pickler will serve as the special correspondent for the ABC-TV special, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest, Dec. 31, at 9 p.m. ET.

Taylor Swift will also perform on the annual New Year’s Eve show from Times Square in New York City. Kellie will provide special reports throughout the evening. Kellie tells The Arizona Republic, “I’ve always been interested in television. Maybe in the future I can do TV to kind of give me a little break from the music thing.”
