Keith Urban says it was "harrowing” when a paparazzo on a bicycle crashed into his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, recently on a sidewalk in New York City.

“It’s the Wild Wild West, man,” Keith told radio station 2Day FM in Australia.

A video shows the man on the bike—moving very fast—crash into Nicole outside a hotel as she is walking in. The impact knocked her down immediately, but she wasn’t hurt.

“She called me straightaway . . . any husband can relate to that,” Keith said. "So luckily she wasn’t seriously injured. It’s the Wild Wild West, man. The police are handling it and we just move on."
