Keith Urban Hologram Mall Tour Hits Australia

Keith Urban might not get as much time as he’d like to spend with his fans in Australia, but now, thanks to a new hologram, things are different. Fans Down Under can now see Keith perform his latest single, “Somewhere in My Car,” virtually.

While the hologram craze is nothing new to music fans, as it’s been done before with the late Michael Jackson and deceased rapper Tupac Shakur, this is one of the first times that a living country artist has gotten involved with the projected 2-D technology.

“I like the whole idea of that and what can be done with that,” Keith told ABC News Radio backstage after his performance on ABC’s Good Morning America last week.

The hologram is set to travel to various cities over the next few weeks. For those in North America, Keith is currently in the midst of his Raise ’Em Up Tour. His latest single, “Somewhere in My Car,” which he co-wrote with hit songwriter J.T. Harding, is at radio now.
