Keith Urban Falls for “Idol” Contestant—Literally

“Can someone make a gif of @keithurban falling out of his chair from #idol tonight,” Ryan Seacrest tweets.

One American Idol contestant's audtion literally knocked Keith Urban out of his judge's seat in the episode that aired Thursday (Jan. 31).

Zoanette Johnson, 19, said she had a bet with her family that if President Obama won reelection, she would sing the national anthem for her audition.

Zoanette belted it out, and when she hit the land of the free high note—around the 2:23 mark in the YouTube video of the audition—Keith dropped right out of his chair.

Keith wasn't the only judge blown away. "I am obsessed with you!" judge Nicki Minaj said. "Me too!" Zoanette replied, cracking up the judges.

All four judges voted for Zoanette to advance.

Show host Ryan Seacrest apparently liked Keith's spill, tweeting, "can someone make a gif of @keithurban falling out of his chair from #idol tonight."

Perhaps we can oblige.
