Keith Urban and Randy Jackson Have Gone at It on “Idol”

So you think all the American Idol auditions fireworks are between pop divas Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj?

Not true. Producer Nigel Lythgoe told television critics assembled in Pasadena, Calif., for their winter conference that Keith Urban and Randy Jackson have gotten into some verbal spats as well.

"We have gone at it," Keith admitted to the reporters.

And Mariah had some fun with that.

"They fight constantly," she said, before joking, "I find it offensive."

Keith also said that he's psyched to be the first full-time country judge.

"It's always had a huge country audience as well," he said of Idol's viewership. "So I feel really honored to be a part of the panel now."

The new season starts Jan. 16 on FOX.
