KEITH SURPRISE GUEST AT CMA FEST

Keith Urban turned out to be the “surprise performer” at the Thursday night, June 8, CMA Music Festival concert at Nashville’s Coliseum.

Keith joined Brooks & Dunn onstage to reprise his acoustic backup to the duo’s hit “Believe,” which he performed on the ACM Awards last month. Earlier, Brooks & Dunn announced that they’ve been tapped to host this year’s CMA Awards, marking their third straight stint. As far as their hosting duties, Kix Brooks revealed that he and partner Ronnie Dunn work better without a script because it allows them to be funny. “We’re like NASCAR,” Kix says. “There’s gonna be a wreck if you put us in a race. And people are gonna watch that.”
