Keith Set for Live Earth Concert

Keith Urban is set to perform at the multi-artist Live Earth Concerts during the weekend of July 7–8.

The concerts are being held in eight different cities around the world to call attention to the growing concern of global warming, with nearly 150 artists participating. Keith will be performing Saturday, July 7, at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., outside of New York City. Keith’s wife Nicole Kidman will be a presenter at the concert in Sydney, Australia. “Global warming is something that will ultimately affect all of us on this planet,” says Keith. “If there is one thing that music can do, it is to bring people together despite their politics or differences.” Other acts scheduled for various venues are Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi, Madonna and The Police. Clear Channel is airing the 24-hour broadcast on HD2 and in 50 markets.
