KEITH: NO MOVIES FOR NOW

Keith Urban declares that movies are not on the horizon at this point in his career.

Speculation has been making the rounds that Keith might be interested in movies, especially since he has often been seen with actress Nicole Kidman in Nashville and at various entertainment functions. “It’s not something that’s a real priority for me,” Keith tells Premiere Prep. “I love making music. It’s what I do naturally.” Following the 2006 CMT Music Awards Monday, April 10, Keith revealed that he is not looking at any movie scripts, but is instead concentrating on his next record. “I’ll be in the studio, and taking some time off the road,” Keith explained. He will be recording the follow-up to his smash CD Be Here, and may come out with a single from the new sessions. The CD could be released later this year or early in 2007.
