Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were side-by-side as they helped pay tribute to folk-pop legend James Taylor in Los Angeles, Monday night, Feb. 6.

Taylor was honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and Keith and Nicole were among the celebrity guests, reports Nashville music business executive Lisa Harless, who was also in attendance. Keith performed James' song "Country Road," as the big screens occasionally focused on Nicole, Lisa notes. The Dixie Chicks were also on hand, honoring James with a version of his hit "Shower the People." Keith will be performing at tonight's Grammy awards telecast, but there's been no official word whether Nicole will attend with him. You can probably bet on it, though.
