Keith Looking Good at No. 1 Party

Keith Urban celebrated the success of his No. 1 single, “You Look Good in My Shirt,” at an industry party at the BMI offices in Nashville, Nov. 3, joined by wife Nicole Kidman and the song’s co-writers, Tom Shapiro, Tony Martin and Mark Nesler.

Keith mentioned that he had first recorded the song for his 2002 album Golden Road, but released a re-recorded version this year because the song had become a live concert favorite. “I think it’s wonderful that the song was such a resilient little dear,” Keith laughed. “It doesn’t matter when a song works out—a good song is a good song.” Keith also thanked Nicole for attending the event with him. “And you do look good in my shirt,” he added.
