Keith Lets Fans Know There’s New Music, New Tours Coming

“I’m really anxious to get back into the actual studio and really start working on an album,” he says.

Keith Urban is staying in his native country after wrapping up his time as mentor on the first season of the Australian version of The Voice.

But Keith took to the web to let fans know that new music and new tours are on the way.

"I'm chomping at the bit to get back into writing and recording mode," Keith said in a video, with the Sydney Harbor behind him.

"We've done bits and pieces of it throughout this year, as you guys know. But I’m really anxious to get back into the actual studio and really start working on an album. I've got a bunch of songs and I’m really excited about getting in and recording," he said.

Keith will kick off a world tour in January in his home country.

"I’m jonesing to get back onstage anywhere," he said.

"Have a great summer and we'll be back in the States before you know it."
